  1. Hello. I would like to know if some more seasons about Yugoslavian Prva Liga will be added in the future. Thanks a lot and great job!!!

  2. Hi Alfredo, unfortunately the only available source for Yugoslavia which I know of only covers the years 1978 to 1986. I think Yugoslavia of the 1950s to 1970s would be a very interesting period to cover with some of the finest European footballers of the era being active in that league but so far no sources have surfaced which cover that period.

  3. Hi Wolfgang. Thanks for your answer. Besides the period you refer to, I was also interested in the period for the last years of Yugoslavia as a united country, just before the split and the civil wars, when there was also a great generation of football players from all the republics (Stojkovic, Savicevic, Mijatovic, Pancev, Suker, Boban…). But it is true what you say. It is difficult to find sources about that time with line-ups and details. Thanks again.

    • I looked for Yugoslavia on Heartbooks and saw 89-90 and 91-92 but where is a book that features lineups from 1945 to 1973 and 1973 to 1978?

This here comes closest to it as it has games and goals for each season but according to the description no lineups:

      PET DECENIJA DRZAVNIH PREVENSTAVA

    • Mirko is talking about a Belgian book seller who has plenty of football books. You can find it here:

      http://www.heartbooks.be/

I got many books from this guy, excellent source. If you go to the search box an type in “Yugoslavia” you will find some books. I might buy the Almanah books about season 89-90 and 91-92 which you can see there (these books have lineups – it’s from the series which I already uploaded here).

  6. hi, I sent emails to serge and told me that he now available for the 1945 to 1973 ….. but I think he just appearances and goals but you can ask him specifically ……..

  7. I know those magazines (“Almanah”), and they are very interesting, but, in fact I already have all the information they give (mainly players statistics, results, and games of the Yugoslavian national team). What I don’t have, and I am looking for, is what those magazines don’t give: line-ups for the games of the Prva Liga. And I don’t understand why it is so hard to get that kind of information, because Yugoslavia was a country with such a love for football. They were really fanatics of this sport. But anyway, I will keep on trying.

    • But the one that I have (which I have uploaded on this site) does have lineups! How come the other volumes do not have lineups? When I say “lineups” I mean they show the shirt number every player wore in every game.

  8. No Igor. I am from Spain, but, even if it sounds strange, I have always been a football fan on Central and Eastern Europe, so for the last ten years I have been searching information about teams, players and games in that part of Europe.

  10. Igor, after more than 10 years collecting all kind of material, I already have plenty of information from the most of the former socialist countries, like the Soviet Union, Romania, Poland, Hungary, the GDR and also Czechoslovakia in the second half of the 1980s (which is the period of time I am most interested in), but I am still trying to get database about Yugoslavia, Bulgaria and Albania, so if you can help with that, I would really appreciate it.

  15. Hello again guys. I am sorry, but I have been busy for some personal reasons for the last days. First of all, Igor, I am sorry, but, as I already said before, I have almost no valuable information about Yugoslavia. It is one of the countries in Central and Eastern Europe I need to collect information. However, I have been able to get and prepare some good information about Czechoslovakia (for the 1985/1986, 1986/1987, 1987/1988 and 1988/1989 seasons). If you want to know more, you can tell me, but here you have an example (it is written in Spanish, but I think you all will understand):

  18. iam currently putting all the info into an excel file, if you give me an email i can send you the excel file as i update it.

regards a website no i dont have a website, but i do have something that might interest you, and i think it would add something to this website, i make kits, rather like truecolours and have been working on english club kits from 1970-2016, ill post an example here for you so you see what i mean.

    https://s32.postimg.org/kx2c3ref9/engh.png
    https://s32.postimg.org/j6jb29ww5/ireh.png
    https://s32.postimg.org/4bupo3nb9/scoh.png

i also like collecting the info for the historical lineups, but found a long time agao you will struggle to get lineups for eastern bloc countries from the 70/80’s so i now just try and gather squad and appearences/goals if i can. if that information interests you then feel free to mail me and if the kits interest you, then we can maybe pull our resources.
